Tropical Night
Music & Lyrics By Peter Tam, Copyright © 1999

A tropical night, all the stars are shinning so bright
Reminds me of a sailing tale, with the wind on my sail

Drifting at sea, nothing in this world worries me
Nothing were there in my mind, all my troubles behind

You and me we were sailing in a tropical night

Tropical Night nothing but the stars in our sight
The wave would gently rock us to sleep. With dreams ocean deep

The rain starts to fall gently on our boat upper floor
Gently on the canvas top, in just awhile then it stops

You and me we were sailing in a tropical night

A shooting start, lighting the sky with its shimmering tail,
A wish comes true
The moon would slowly rise, as our ship is passing by,
We say goodnight, goodnight

A Tropical night, the warmth would make us feeling so right
A song would slowly put us to sleep, with dreams’ ocean deep

A song gently plays, resting from a beautiful day
Listening to this melody, this song of the sea

You and me we were sailing in a tropical night
